SPECIALIZED SERVICES FOR SEPARATION, DIVORCE AND CO-PARENTING

Breaking up is hard.

Break ups can get ugly. We’ve all seen it happen. Couples can lose track of their priorities, argue about the past, call each other names and go into court with vengeance on their mind. The ‘court’ procedure lends itself to this type of competitive mindset. But, it doesn’t have to be that way…

We can help.

Other ways we can help.

Children’s Therapy

It will be normal for your child to have difficulty during the separation and divorce process. However, if these ‘difficulties’ start becoming more serious, therapy can help your child and your family learn new coping skills and different strategies to get through this transition.

Courses

Our “Kids First” Co-Parenting course is designed to help parents prepare for separation and become more comfortable in how to support their children through the process. Parents will gain an understanding of their options moving forward with tools and resources to guide their way.

Workshops and Groups

We frequently develop workshops and groups to address the unique needs of family members - especially children - who are struggling with the the separation and divorce process. Workshops and groups are available both online and in-person at our Burlington and/or Oakville locations.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse in a relationship, you must remember that safety is key, and that abuse is NEVER acceptable or justified, in any situation.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911, or you local emergency services (police, fire, ambulance).

If you are considering accessing therapeutic support as an option, help is available when you are ready.
