Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

If I could give only one piece of advice, it would be to focus on your choices. You cannot change somebody else.

The biggest misconceptions about mental illness is that people with mental health challenges are ‘bad’ or somehow inferior to others.

For me, mental health is about feeling secure in yourself, safe and stable, and having the support networks you need available in a non-judgmental setting. Similarly, if we’re talking about wellness, it’s about feeling safe, being self-compassionate and striving for our individual version of happiness.

I have been educated on some of the complex challenges many of you encounter on a day-to-day basis. I will walk with you towards the change you want. I will provide a safe space conducive to the development of impactful tools and strategies, and encourage the cultivation of achievable goals that will make a difference in your life.

By providing support and motivation in a non-judgmental way, I can offer the empathy and compassion needed to support you through your unique issues or difficult life changes.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  • The prospect of helping others and growing as a professional and a person, is what get’s me out of bed in the morning.

My passion for assisting people to move towards positive change is the reason why I do what I do.

  • I have a strong background focusing on healthy relationships.

I have significant experience addressing abuse, improving respect and communication and managing conflict. In addition, I am skilled at working with issues surrounding anger, trauma, anxiety and depression.

  • After spending 15 years working with people in different capacities in both England and Canada, including marginalized populations, individuals, couples and groups, I pride myself on my dynamic style of communication and versatility.

I am passionate about the ability for someone to change. I believe in resilience but also the benefits of receiving support and how that can empower people to make better choices for themselves.

I strongly believe that everyone can move towards change. However, I can also appreciate how this process can be intimidating, provide uncertainty or conjure conflicting emotions. That’s why I will follow your lead and work collaboratively with you as you work towards achieving your goals.

Ultimately, the intent is to develop meaningful approaches that help you better respond to the challenges you are experiencing now and any you may encounter in the future.

  • I feel that it is important to be non-judgmental, empathetic, and a strong believer in you and your ability to change.

  • What I value most in a client is their ability to be vulnerable and open to change.

  • Witnessing change in people and recognizing how this can truly impact their life is what I like most about what I do and I do believe that I can contribute to an individual’s better health.
